What is a registrar’s office?
The registrar’s office (or registrar’s office) is a department in higher educational institutions that maintains all information, documents, and services related to the educational process of students.
It acts as a kind of bridge between students and the university.

The number of documents issued to students (diplomas, transcripts, etc.) has also increased. Therefore, Harvard University decided to create a separate department to address these issues. This department took on the tasks of registering students, tracking their academic achievements, and issuing them official documents. Later, this department began to be called “Registrar’s Office.”
