

Since September 26, 2025, Italy and Uzbekistan have met at a unique crossroads of culture, music and art. The festival called “ItARTS Festival The Debut” began its activities on September 26 with the opening of an exhibition of Italian artists and students at the Ikuo Hirayama International Cultural Caravan Palace of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and the opening concert of the installation projects Giovani Sguardi”, “Vèstiti di Teatrum: viaggio nel costume tra sogno e realtà” and “Le Macchine della Tempesta” dedicated to theater machines, costumes and stage images at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, as well as a grand opening concert.
On the second day of the festival, a concert program entitled “Sounds of the Mediterranean and the East. Italian and Uzbek music” was presented as part of the ItARTS project of the National Institute of Pop Art named after Botir Zakirov. The concert was opened by Daniela Macchione, the general coordinator of the ItARTS project, and Mukhamedova Feruza Nurmakhmatovna, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the Botir Zokirov National Institute of Pop Art.
During the concert program, students of the Botir Zokirov National Institute of Pop Art skillfully performed popular Italian pop songs:
